In Reading we read all about Miss Trunchbull from "Matilda" by Roald Dahl and did out role on the wall showing her physical features (appearance) and her personality.
We wrote some very moving Anzac poems early this term, with very effective language.
Look at the wonderful writing about being at the movies.
It was very fun creating a roll on the wall (especially describing the personality). They all turned out great. -Toni
ReplyDeleteI love how we put her personality in the inside and her appearance on the outside

I enjoyed writing about the movies & Miss Trunchbull, but wish that we could have written something from our own sense of creativity instead of just writing down details that were simply given to us to copy or recalled from memory. Although, I do see an educational reason to recount (while writing about the movies), as it generally improves our skills to turn an ordinary day out into a descriptive story.
